The goal of this blog is to show the less known side of Hungary to the world. It intends to expand the mass of information by presenting the regions, treasures of Hungary and the home-made Hungarian cuisine.

I know many people find Hungarian dishes too heavy, but I confess that they are much healthier than the commercially available semi-finished and ready-made meals, or fast foods. As I’m neither professional chef, nor tourism expert, don’t expect official opinions and posts, only subjective notes, descriptions and home-made recipes.

Hope you will enjoy the posts and there will be a few persons who join this cross-country (gastro) trip.
