Preparing one of your recipes for a table of 4-6 isn&#8217;t a problem, but if we have a full table a dozen or so) then it helps if we have an approximate idea of how many will be fed. <p>Hi Olaf, Soups and main dishes usually serve approx. 4. The reason I don&#8217;t write the number of servings is that it can be misleading. The amount that is enough for 4 people in my family might be eaten by 6 in yours or vice versa. Servings of other recipes deceived me many times earlier, so I try to avoid providing my readers false information.</p>
